When I first found out we would be working from home due to the Covid-19 restrictions I thought “this is my dream come true”! And it still is for the most part except for that dang kitchen of mine. It’s that time of the year when we all feel sluggish. Getting up in the morning when it’s dark, going coming out of work and it being dark. It’s a tough time. For me I tend to get depressed and want to lay down after work. I have to really force myself to exercise. Perhaps I should join a gym or buy an app to exercise from home. Hi, I’m Sheila. I have been working in the fitness field since 1980! Many years ago, I started my journey at a YMCA in Cambridge MA, teaching a Mommy and Baby class. Jumping to today, I have had my own studio, managed many fitness centers, and now work in public health. Fitness is a HUGE part of my life! Over the years, I have designed programs for all populations working with their limitations and deepening their strengths. As far as having a healthy eating plan, I have had a long journey finding what works best for me, and am happy to share that.
